About
Alex Rodriguez is a Los Angeles–based LYT Method yoga teacher (E-RYT 200, YACEP) and the founder of Casa Toci Wellness.
Her work centers on anatomically informed, functional movement practices that support healing, resilience, and long term well being. She believes that healing happens in community and is committed to creating inclusive spaces where people feel supported, capable, and empowered.Alex’s teaching style is grounded, precise, and accessible—blending strength, curiosity, and play with clear cueing and thoughtful pose breakdowns. Her approach helps students better understand how their bodies move, fostering confidence, awareness, and sustainable practice both on and off the mat.Following her own healing and recovery, Alex felt called to guide others through movement and breath. She trained at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, where she was also a 2024 recipient of the Teaching for Diversity Grant. She holds a degree in Communication Studies, has over 1,000 hours of teaching experience, and is a Usui Reiki Level II practitioner.Alex has collaborated with organizations including Propel Fitness Water, the Fabletics Fit App, and the Parkinson’s Foundation, and continues to partner with community-based groups to promote access, self-discovery, and embodied healing. Her mission is simple and steady: to help students find balance, strength, and connection through intelligent movement and intentional breath.
