Alex teaches all levels classes including Ashtanga Yoga, Chair Yoga and Chi Gong in the Fort Lauderdale area in Florida. Prior to that, Alex founded Summit Yoga Studio in Summit, New Jersey in 1999 where he was the Yoga Director for 15 years. Alex also offers yoga retreats in the Caribbean and travels to teach in Europe. He also appears in Beryl-Bender Birch's and video, "Power Yoga, The Practice." Alex started teaching an eclectic mix of yoga in 1994, incorporating Bikram, Chakra yoga, and Iyengar at local fitness centers and community colleges in New Jersey before he opened his own yoga studio. Alex is a big advocate for the energy balancing arts. He is a Reiki Master and also offers many supportive modalities including Chi Gong, BodyTalk System, Reiki, Yuen Method, and Metamorphosis. Alex is also an ordained minister and specializes in spiritually based commitment and wedding ceremonies. Prior to becoming a yoga teacher, Alex was a successful tennis teaching professional for 15 years.
