Lexie is originally from Maine and grew up ski racing and dancing through which she developed a keen interest in biomechanics and the study of movement She is the founder/owner of Mountain Physio & Wellness a mobile concierge physical therapy practice in Jackson WY She found yoga in and has been practicing consistently for over the past decade In Lexie was able to deepen her personal practice and begin her path to teach yoga by completing a -hr Vinyasa Teacher Training through Inversion Yoga She strongly believes in the importance of having a personal movement practice – not skiing biking or running but an actual movement practice with the purpose of self-care For Lexie practicing yoga is a time and space to focus on breath and intentional movement As a Doctor of Physical Therapy she often prescribes corrective exercises for her patients In her yoga classes while she enjoys challenging her students she is particularly mindful of alignment and avoiding injury by offering modifications Her mission is to keep people moving and pursuing adventures in the mountains In her free time she enjoys skiing biking rock climbing yoga and spending time outdoors.
