My name is Alex Lambro and as a wellness professional I love sharing the transformational opportunities a daily yoga practice has had on my own life As an avid multi-sport enthusiast my initial introduction to yoga three decades ago was due to a ski injury which had impacted my well being I have since found a greater sense of emotional balance a clarity of mind and have developed my ability to focus on my purpose and what is meaningful Benefits have included; Increased flexibility | Increased muscle strength and tone | Improved respiration energy and vitality | Maintaining a balanced metabolism | Circulatory health | Improved athletic performance | Protection from injury Teaching yoga since I thrive on continuous education and take part in yearly teacher trainings and workshops in the Iyengar method I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in the clinical field of Exercise Sport Science from WSCU I want to invite you to take steps towards a valuable and satisfying path of physical well being Classes are suitable for all levels especially those who are flexibly challenged By cultivating a powerful inner awareness through natural movements activating change at a deeper level nourishing deep connective tissues ultimately increasing performance lubricating joints and releasing the fascia of the body while increasing flexibility Target areas for opening include hips pelvis low back and shoulders Classes assist in reducing stress and tension restoring balance to ones overall health and longevity.
