Alicia Backman-Beharry is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).

Alicia has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. Her current inspiration is a quote from Mother Teresa: “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” Alicia practices, teaches and shares yoga because she believes it is beautiful to continuously re-discover the ability of your body, the power of your focused mind, and the connection with your spirit and your breath. She teaches yoga to children and to adults and completed a 200 hour International Yoga Alliance Recognized Program through Flow Training and Yoga. Alicia is also a practicing lawyer with her own immigration law practice and a mother of two and so can relate first hand with how yoga can be a powerful tool in helping body and mind.
