About
I was drawn to yoga in my early 20s in the UK.while I was in school to become RN.
I was and continue to be fascinated by the physical and philosophical teachings of yoga . This led me on a journey that continues to this day. Another physical journey was also taking place as I emigrated to South Africa at age 27 and studied with a lovely teacher who was in her 70s and imparted much wisdom to me. During this time I developed a home practice of asana and meditation which I continue. I moved to California USA in 1994 with my husband and 2 children and once settled I continued on my yoga journey eventually becoming a yoga teacher. My occupation as a Charge RN in the trauma field can be very stressful and I've had some very difficult times in my personal life & yoga really helps me stay grounded , strong , light and sane! I try each day to live my yoga so that I may be empathetic, truthful and kind to others and myself & walk my path with strength grace and humor
