Alison Litchfield is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School RYS Alison leads Yoga Teacher Trainings workshops retreats womens groups and works one on one with people to facilitate growth and empowerment Alison got her undergraduate degree from University of Maine Orono in with a BA in Interpersonal Communications After graduating she moved to Boulder CO and became interested in yoga  She studied Ashtanga Yoga in India in with Sri K Pattabhi Jois and came back to Boulder to continue deepening her practice at The Yoga Workshop  During that time she completed her certification as a Rolfer of Structural Integration at The Rolf Institute in Boulder Colorado in and soon after that took Richard Freemans first Yoga Teacher Training intensive  in  She taught yoga for many years as one of Richards Senior teachers Her teaching style is also influenced by Anusara principles of alignment and the Rolf Movement principles She is an ERYT Yoga Instructor and founder of Embody Yoga School here in Boulder CO  She has a small studio in the Arts District of North Boulder CO where she currently offers Rolfing and Rolf Movement as well as hybrid in-person and online yoga classes privates Teacher Trainings and workshops She is passionate about working with people and helping them discover efficiency of movement and radical sovereignty through the principles and practice of yoga.
