Flexibility is not required, she teaches functional movements that will help you maintain range of motion, improve balance, relax, and decrease stress. She is determined to show the world that yoga doesn’t have to be hot and sweaty to work, and that you don’t have to be a pretzel, or stand on your head to reap the benefits. Yoga is about so much more than our ability to perform difficult postures…Allison is hopeful she can help you realize the value of a slower, more mindful style of yoga. Helping you quiet the mind and connect with your inner wisdom. Allison loves to study all things yoga - including the science behind how the practice affects the mind and body; her teaching is informed by modern science & research, as well as ancient wisdom.
