Through this practice we are returned to our natural state of blissful freedom with radiant health, clarity of thinking, happy relationships, thriving communities, and a peaceful world. I teach yoga for Oneness through highly-individualized classes tailored to my students’ specific physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. Classes offered include: • private individual • private couples • private group • private children • corporate & organization individual/consultancy • corporate & organization group • school consultancy/workshops • school group (faculty & staff) • school group (children) Workshops/speaking engagements offered include: • teaching yoga to children & teaching yoga to children with special needs • mindfulness in the classroom • applications of yoga for behavior intervention • yoga in the classroom • yoga for education professionals • children’s spiritual development in the elementary classroom I hold a 300-hour World Peace Yoga certification, an holistic, hatha-style approach to spiritual practice, emphasizing the philosophy of ahimsa, or an “all-loving” way of life. I am also a certified World Peace Diet facilitator. I hold a 200-hour RYT Yoga Alliance certification, and am currently completing a 500-hour certification. I’m also a nature-lover and hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Parks and Recreation Management, and I incorporate appreciation of the natural world into many of my classes. With an academic and professional background in education (I hold a Master’s degree & teaching license in Early Childhood Education and work as an elementary Intervention Specialist for children in special education), I bring my understanding of learning styles, differentiation, and instructional strategy to my yoga classes. My workshops on children and yoga are research-based and have practical applications both in and out of the classroom.
