About
Alysha Beth Oclassen is a dancer, movement instructor, massage therapist, health advocate, writer, wife, mother, friend, and explorer.
She has years of training in various different fields, all involving the physical body moving in space. Discovering the joy of movement has been a great gift in her life, and Alysha feels blessed to have the opportunity to share what she has learned while supporting others in their journeys. Alysha received a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, in 1998 and has completed comprehensive training programs in both Classical Pilates with Roman Kryzanowska, and Balanced Body Pilates®. Alysha graduated with honors from ASHA Massage School, Atlanta, GA, specializing in Neuromuscular and Sports Massage. She completed her first 200 hour yoga training with Hailey Yoga Center, Hailey Idaho, in 2011 and her 300 hour training with Shanti Yoga, McCall Idaho, in 2015. Most recently, Alysha graduated from Lara Heimann's LYT Yoga teacher training program in 2020. Alysha blends Pilates, Yoga and dance techniques, tailoring sessions to best benefit each individual. She is deeply committed to helping others express their joy and loves cheering her clients on as they find their happy place in their own skin. Her 25 years in the field and over 20,000 hours of teaching experience gives her the confidence and know how to work with just about anyone. Current clients range from 12 to 84, athletes to extreme body challenges, with everything in between. Alysha founded Pure Body Bliss Movement Studio in her hometown of Hailey Idaho in 2006, and is now overjoyed for the opportunity to split her time between the Idaho mountains and the blue waves of Maui.
