Amanda Ann Millette is a San Antonio native land known as Yanaguana She holds a deep love and passion for the citys culture roots community arts and more In her free time she reads spends time with friends and family enjoys long walks and prioritizes rest and balance in her daily routines Amanda found yoga in at yrs old after a significant loss in her life She didnt know it at the time Yoga was slowly changing her entire life In she became more dedicated to the practice and began following a mentor teacher here in the community By / she followed that loud inner whisper to become a yoga teacher Graduating her YTT in - she made a leap and began pursing yoga as a full time career During that year she was exposed to her first Trauma informed yoga training and since has gathered over hrs of trauma informed education in yoga somatics accessibility and a nervous system lead approach Teaching yoga in many mental health environments as integrative care is connected to Amandas deep purpose in her work As well Amanda prioritizes being a student making time for her own mental/spirtual health care and continues to seek education as means of growth in her field of Yoga teaching.
