Amanda Thompson is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Amanda began her formal training in yoga in 2002 with Graham Fowler at Peachtree Yoga Center in Atlanta. After her 200 hour certification, she continues her education with teachers like Shiva Rea, Sri Dharma Mittra, Seane Corn, Tias Little, Doug Keller, Ana Forrest, Aadil Palkhivala, Jason Crandell and many others. In one class, Amanda pulls together many different practices in a flow for increased circulation, Lymphatic cleansing, and movement of energy for deep rejuvenation. There is a dance to this yoga, a playfulness, but also a focused attention to clearing blocks in the body and mind. Amanda believes each class should include, meditation, pranayama and, of course, asana work.
