Amanda Torrey

I am also a licensed Psilocybin facilitator and psychedelic guide practicing in Portland, Oregon. I bring over 15 years of experience working in these healing arts. I taught group physical education classes at Middle Tennessee State University and various studios in Murfreesboro, TN and Portland, Oregon. I taught classes, managed and offered private yoga therapy sessions at Woodlawn Movement and Healing Arts in Portland. I have taught yoga classes to children at schools in Portland, through Streetyoga non profit group, and with Gutmonkey, our family business, at summer camps and conferences. I have dedicated myself to guiding others through the profoundly transformative work of healing; mind, body and soul. I have received training and certification through Entheogen Institute and the Oregon Psilocybin Services program to facilitate guided psilocybin sessions. I continue to receive training and supervision from my gifted psychedelic guide, Micah Stover. I integrate meditation and somatic movement into the preparation and integration phases of psychedelic healing. Personally and for the last 40 years I have moved through profound experiences of grief, trauma, addiction and abuse. From the tragic death of my son in 2007 and ensuing post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to the intense process of healing from complex post traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) from childhood trauma, I am able to deeply connect with and hold space for others going through their own healing journeys.
