About
As a wife and momma to two daughters, Amber keeps her life balanced with both the practice and teaching of yoga.
Amber is from Fayetteville, North Carolina where she completed a BS in Biology ('11) and her Masters in Health Care Administration ('15) all the while playing Soccer and Lacrosse for Methodist University. During her undergrad, Amber found yoga as an amazing supplement to her demanding schedule. Since then Amber has completed many trainings to include ERYT 200 (1k+ hours of teaching) and RYT 500. She also has additional training in SUP yoga (stand up paddle board), Rocket yoga, Yin and Reiki. As a former collegiate athlete, Amber has been trained in yoga for athletic performance which can apply to the individual goals and those as of a team. Recently she finished her level 1 Reiki trainin she hopes to bring forth the holistic elements of the human touch and energy fields so that we may all have the ability to recharge and reset back into wholeness. Before recently having her second child, Amber was part of the traveling yoga festival, Wanderlust where she played a vital role as a program manager and worked in guest services for the Wanderlust 108 festival. During this amazing opportunity she was able to connect and learn from many gurus which has help develop Ambers unique teaching style. Amber's teaching style is rooted in her love for exploring the body with and the curiosities we may hold for ourselves to include fun transitions, opportunities to explore capabilities, all-inclusive alignment based, and self-empowerment. As a teacher her classes are cultivated to help create courage, confidence, and sustainability as well as an awareness both with-in ourselves and the world around us giving you a sense of clarity.
