I walked into my first hot yoga class in 2008 with the goal of getting a great workout.
Over the next 10+ years my understanding and love of the practice has continued to grow and evolve. I graduated teacher training in fall 2018 under the guidance of Shannon Kassoff, and completed an additional mentorship program in early 2019. As a plus-sized student and now teacher, I am attuned to the needs of those who may not fit the stereotypical view of a yoga student, and it is my goal to make yoga inclusive for all students and all bodies.
