My name is Amy I grew up in Michigan am a mother of four a fifth grade teacher and have enjoyed many different activities over the years such as running hiking and biking I have practiced Yoga on and off for years thinking of it primarily as a physical practice My strong connection with Yoga began several years ago when taking a traditional style Yoga Class I was drawn to the spiritual side of Yoga the sanskrit mantras and mudras which lead to the “mind body spirit connection” that I had heard so much about The focus presence and mindfulness built during class started to carry over in other areas of life I had the opportunity to train with Breathe For Change which is a “movement of educators inspired to teach and learn for peace love and social change” I was hooked I am now RYT certified and registered with the Yoga Alliance The sessions I teach will include a focus on Breath Strengthening Stretching Balancing Healing and Relaxing with a focus on intention I incorporate time for reflection renewal inspiration and stillness Im looking forward to helping others find that sense of calm peace and presence in a safe supportive environment.
