About
In search of ways to ease anxiety, Amy began practicing yoga online over a decade ago.
After her first studio class in a room full of students, she knew she was destined to teach and provide others the yogic tools that helped her so much. In 2018, Amy participated in a 9 month intensive Spiritual Leadership Training with an emphasis on teaching meditation practices including mantra, pranayama, visualization, breath work, and above all else loving and serving others. She went on to complete her 200-hour and 300-hour Anusara Teacher Trainings at Yoga Kula in Berkeley, CA, and is now a certified and registered 500RYT Hatha yoga teacher . Her focus continues to be meditation along with supporting yoga practices including asana, breath work, yoga nidra, and self inquiry. She continues to explore how to weave these ancient but ever relevant lessons into her own life. Amy has taught online Hatha classes for Yoga Kula and works with small private groups including leading a monthly meditation group, integrating self-observation, guided meditations, and journaling to cultivate a joy-centered life. Her hope is that students may take these gifts with them to support them in their daily lives. Amy is also an Aromatherapist and infuses the healing energy of plants to amplify a richer experience in asana and meditation to students.
