About
Amy believes fully in the deeply nourishing power of yoga - physically, mentally, and emotionally.
The greatest gift the practice has given her is deep self love and respect, and this is always the cornerstone of her classes. A lifetime yoga practitioner, she also is a former RN, giving her a deep, well-rounded knowledge of anatomy and overall wellness that she applies to her teaching. She focuses on proper alignment, listening to one's own body, uses props generously to assist students in achieving a healthy pose, and interweaves heart-centered themes into all her classes. She completed her 200 hour training in Vinyasa flow, but also has completed trainings in Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. She also has a strong practice background in the Iyengar method.
