Amy has been practicing yoga for 25+ years.
She specializes in helping students create a holistic practice by listening to their bodies, creating space, and creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Amy's classes blend Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Vinyasa Flow. The focus is on aligning the physical with the subtle by using breath, awareness, alignment, and ancient yoga techniques, including meditation, while maintaining a healthy sense of humor or ease during practice. Amy continues to be a lifelong student, working towards completing her 500-hour and prenatal/postnatal yoga teacher training. Additionally, Amy has trained in Ayurveda through the Himalayan Institute.
