My journey in yoga began with my work as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan While studying and working with trauma the healing properties of yoga breathe and mindfulness were evident Previously I dabbled in my own personal yoga practice but it had never occurred to me to teach yoga  I frequently referred clients to participate in local community yoga classes but there wasnt any follow with the explanations that they didnt feel comfortable going to a studio  With the benefits of yoga for my clients becoming more and more clear I decided I needed to learn to teach yoga so that I could bring it to them making it more accessible to my clients  I completed a hr yoga teacher training and fell in love  I continued my journey shortly after participating in a hour yoga training and multiple other continuing education classes  My love of yoga continues and is now a regular part of my life both personally and professionally.
