About
Ana Romo was born in Mexico City, Mexico.
She studied for a bachelor’s degree in economics at Universidad Iberoamericana, and upon graduating, worked for the Mexican government. Ana moved to Houston, Texas in 2010 with her husband and their 3-year-old son. Ana became a mother for the second time in 2011. She dedicated herself to motherhood until she discovered her passion for yoga. Ana traveled to Bali, Indonesia to deepen her practice by participating in a 200-hour training at Gokulyoga school, which specializes in Hatha yoga. Upon her return, Ana felt the need to share the benefits of the practice—not just physical, but mental as well. Ana began teaching classes in September 2017. Since then, she has been devoted to sharing the “magic” of yoga. In 2023, Ana decided to improve her practice and knowledge by adding a 300-hour training at Robert Boustany’s Pralaya Yoga School to her résumé. · LeAna leads Yoga classes for all skill levels, from beginning to advance. · Teach students how to use bandhas to use muscle strength during practice. · Teach students correct posture to ensure maximum benefit and safety. · Teach Workshops for specific goals in the practice Arm Balances/Backbends/Hip Openers/ etc. · Provide Guided Meditation at the beginning and end of each class to help students center themselves and get the most out of each session. · Give students in-depth understanding of breathing techniques. · Pay attention to the needs of every student throughout each class.
