About
Andrea Stuart is the founder of Vitality Yoga.
Free-spirited yet disciplined, Andrea sees yoga as an opportunity to access and become the best version of ourselves so that we can live joyfully with purpose. Her classes are a reminder of how setting aside a small block of time each day or week for ourselves can add hours to the clock, making us more productive, less stressed, and happier. She has been described by students as an intuitive communicator who uses a light-hearted approach and precise instruction to make yoga accessible and fun. She’s known for providing individualized attention to each student. She has taught at Brentwood Yoga Center, Dhyanyoga Centers, Revitalize Yoga & Wellness, with private clients, and has given workshops and presentations to groups such as the Sons in Retirement. Andrea is a 500-Hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher). She has spent 20+ years studying holistic living and is fortunate to have practiced yoga with H.S. Arunji (disciple of B.K.S. Iyengar), Sandy Carmellini, and Jennie Saur-Klein. Andrea is currently based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. When she isn't teaching, you can find her behind a book or putting the pen to the page as a magazine editor. She also volunteers for animal rescues and believes in the power of community. Other passions include poetry, cooking, wine, music, humor, and art.
