Dede; owner and Founder of Tofino Yoga, is a passionate and dedicated yoga teacher and educator, who came to yoga as a child and whose inspiration is drawn from nature.
After Dede’s mother passed away prematurely from brain cancer, she was called to follow her life’s calling and to inspire people to do the same, hence, Tofino Yoga was born. With more than 20 years of experience teaching yoga, Dede specializes in teaching various yoga modalities such as the Tofino Yoga Teacher Training 100hr, 200hr and 300hr programs and trauma informed yoga. She also has the blessing to teach specialized workshops within First Nations communities. Dede has been studying yoga since 1996, both in India and North America. She trained under the dedicated instruction of Gopalakrishnan Poonoor, from Kerala India, Kerry Lawson of Tusket Nova-Scotia, Natalie Rousseau and Rebekka Walker both from BC, Canada. Dede is the grateful Mama of two beautiful children and the wife of a wonderful nature loving man.
