After many years of running my yoga journey began in my early s when I knew I needed something to balance out my high-impact workout routine What I envisioned as a weekly “stretch session” soon turned into a daily practice I enjoyed the flowing movements the asana and the way the practice made me feel in my body Practice was a moving meditation allowing stress and anxiety to melt away leading to a more balanced life both on and off the mat With every return to the mat my drive to learn more about the practice increased guiding me toward the decision to enroll in a -HR Yoga Teacher Training course I earned my HR RYT through Napa Valley Yoga Center in the summer of and immediately began teaching in the community In the Spring of I completed a HR Yin Teacher Training with Devi Daly Yoga followed by a HR YTT in In March of I completed an additional HR training in Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga through the Center for Trauma and Embodiment To honor inclusivity in the practice I embrace the beginner and more experienced yogi alike My classes are composed of fun thoughtful and sometimes challenging sequences that still allow for clear precise instructions and multiple modifications to support everyones practice.
