I teach Hatha and Yin Yoga with a trauma-informed approach, blending breathwork, sound, and mindfulness techniques to support nervous system regulation.
I prioritize accessible and grounding techniques, aiming to equip students and clients with tools to better live their lives off the mat.Thank you to my many teachers- I teach from lived experience, having spent a year living and serving at an ashram and fully immersing myself in the nuances of the yogic lifestyle.I have training in functional Yin Yoga under Jo Phee, Hatha Yoga through Sivananda, Yoga Philosophy through Loyola Marymount University, and sound healing through the Miami Sound Institute. I have completed ongoing trauma-informed training through the Prison Yoga Project and continue my studies in yogic scripture, Sanskrit, and yoga with various teachers.In my spare time I volunteer with NAMI and Poetic Justice, write poetry, and craft sci-fi/fantasy novels and short stories. I'm always exploring ways to merge creativity, mindfulness and, service.
