Ann Ramsey is a certified C-IAYT, E-RYT at the 500 hour level, a RPYT (registered prenatal yoga teacher) and a YACEP (continuing education provider) from Yoga Alliance.
In 2003 she received her teacher certification in yoga from world renowned yoga instructor, Barbara Benagh, director of The Yoga Studio in Boston and recently completed a 300 Hr. Advanced Teacher Training in 2014 with Eileen Muir director of Karuna Center for Yoga & Holistic Arts in Northampton. Ann has been teaching yoga to all populations from age 2 to 93, specializing in prenatal yoga and privately offering the therapeutic benefits of yoga by appointment. She has also studied extensively at the advance level with Lauren Toolin, director of The Metta Center in Spencer and in teacher training intensives with world master teachers Patricia Walden, John Schumacher, Doug Keller (Physical therapy), Baxter Bell (Doctor of Physical Therapy) and Rodney Yee whom she has also teacher assisted with in his open yoga classes. She is a yoga instructor for area Senior Centers and has been a yoga instructor for Auburn Yoga & Pilates, The Metta Center in Spencer, MA ; a faculty member for Old Common Yoga Teacher Training, and an instructor for MIIA and MCA teaching yoga in various towns in central Massachusetts.
