Ann Wagoner is a certified practitioner of Ayurveda who researched Ayurvedic protocols and herbs for the prevention of Cancer recurrence with the Mount Madonna Institute College of Ayurveda She is a member of NAMA the National Ayurvedic Med Association as well as Yoga Alliance Ann has also studied yoga and Patanjalis yoga sutras extensively with Rama Jyoti Vernon co-founder of Yoga Journal magazine She weaves together Ayurveda and Yoga two sister sciences to expand our mind body and consciousness Ann also has a BA in Philosophy an MA in Liberal Studies from New York University and an MA in Ayurveda from Mount Madonna Institute  Ann has trained with many teachers of Ayurveda from India and Nepal BAMS including Dr Vasant Lad Dr R H Singh Dr Sarita Shrestha Dr Vivek Shanbhag Dr Hari Pallathery Dr PH Kulkarni Dr John Douillard and Dr Shekhar Annambhotla among others  Ann was trained in the ISHTA style of yoga with Alan Finger in New York City She teaches at Multnomah County  to bring yoga to the local neighborhood community  as well as for the Center for Ayurveda and Yoga Study  Her Ayurvedic recipes are available at wwwlighthouseayurvedacom and are based on locally grown food from the Pacific Northwest.
