About
Anna Bowers is a Maryland native who enjoys the restoration, healing and growth that is earned through practicing yoga and is excited to bring these benefits to her community.
Anna has been practicing yoga for 20+ years and was initially drawn to the physical benefits of yoga to help her heal from a lower back injury and to reduce stress. Anna’s first yoga experience taught her to relax, slow down, breathe, and stop competing. She learned to let go, calm her mind, and embrace her breath, while elongating her body and building strength. In 2022, Anna completed Yoga Teacher Training taught by the Yoga Alliance RYS, Yoga Centric becoming a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher. She has expanded her knowledge and experience through additional training in yin and restorative Yoga and learned additional mindfulness practices through training in sound healing and immersion. Anna is excited to bring a welcoming, restorative and growth-centered practice to her community members desiring to reduce stress, find healing and gain serenity.
