About

Born and raised in England, Tony, from the  age of 11 was an active sports person, playing rugby football for many years until a neck injury curtailed his playing career.

He then became an active rower, representing the Royal Air Force, however a serious back injury resulting in surgery  brought a premature end to his rowing. After leaving the Air Force he subsequently moved to Oregon, where he embarked on a personal journey, which led him to reach into aspects of health, spirituality and personal growth, which for many years he had neglected. Accepting a friend’s offer to try yoga, he discovered the power of breath and movement. His personal struggles overcoming and accepting injury, his own journey together with a heartfelt sense of the many blessings and benefits yoga can manifest are present in each class he guides.   Whether you are a seasoned yogi, or embarking on your own personal journey, Tony will guide and support you. He is registered with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 500 teacher and is also registered as a YACEP with Yoga Alliance . He currently teaches in Portland, Oregon at YoYoYogi in NW Portland, where he attended the 200 and 300 Teacher Training programs, at  Unfold yoga studio. in SE Portland and Imagine Yoga in Lake Oswego.  He is also a volunteer teacher with Living Yoga who provide Yoga to marginlized communities and is curerently teaching classes at the Oregon Air National Guard.
