Hi! My name is April Crosby, RYT 200, for now! I am currently working on my 300 hour YTT to further my yoga knowledge and better serve my students.
I finished my 200 YTT with Yoga Farm Ithaca thru their online training program in Feb 2023. I am working with My Vinyasa Practice to obtain my 300 YTT currently. I love teaching and have landed in an area of this field that serves mainly senior adults. It has been such a blessing and so rewarding learning to adapt myself and the practice of teaching to such a unique and beautiful group of humans. I have learned so much from them in how to quickly change up a set sequence to empower and include almost every person that comes to class! I am passionate about sharing a practice that is inclusive, empowering, and leaves you feeling great at the end of the day. I love alignment and props and anatomy based teaching. I am learning to leave more space and silence for students to enjoy the poses and tune in to themselves and to the experience.
