Her path to yoga began with group fitness when she became an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor 2010. Aerial Yoga captured her attention as a new format, and she trained under a local studio owner. Changes in our world closed the aerial yoga studio but provided a unique opportunity for her to study the foundations of Yoga more fully and become a Yoga Alliance RYT in 2020. April further expanded her teaching abilities with Standup Paddle Board (SUP) Yoga training and trauma-informed Children's Yoga Teacher certifications.
