About
I am a queer, neurodivergent, registered yoga teacher offering group classes, workshops, and private yoga sessions in the New Haven area.
Through breath and movement, my teaching emphasizes cultivating embodiment and inner safety. Drawing on my own journeys of recovery and gender identity, I honor individuals where they are and hold space for their unique needs.Through inclusive artistic and movement-based practices, I invite students to find joy in the present through intentional exploration of and grounding in the senses. Tools I employ include meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, Ayurvedic wisdom, asana (yoga postures), and multi-sensory experiences.I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Sanapurna Yoga & Ayurveda Centre in Zurich, Switzerland, and will soon complete an additional 300-hour Yoga Teaching Training at Breathing Room Community, Yoga, and Wellness Center in New Haven, Connecticut.Beyond yoga, I have been long-distance road cycling since 2018 and completed numerous centuries (100+-mile rides). I believe that yoga is essential for increasing mobility, flexibility, and strength, as well as an amazing tool for recovery, healing, and injury prevention. My dog Lulu, who loves unconditionally and whom I love unconditionally, is one of my greatest teachers. I carry Professional Liability Insurance through Alliant Insurance.
