Audrey Walls completed her RYT-200 hour yoga training with a focus in therapeutic yoga at Glenmore Yoga and Wellness Center in Richmond, Virginia and her RYT-300 hour training at the Practice School of Yoga Therapy (PSYT) in Austin, Texas.

She has also completed a 20 Hour Foundational Training in Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) from the Center For Trauma and Embodiment. She is currently pursuing her C-IAYT designation in a 1000-hour training with a focus in integrative yoga therapy at the Practice School of Yoga Therapy (PSYT) in Austin, Texas. She received her Master’s in Counselor Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2020. While completing her degree, she worked primarily with young adults, international students, and became part of the university’s Mindfulness Ambassadors program. After graduating, she pursued mindfulness and meditation programs in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) from Brown University and the Mindfulness and Health Institute (MHI) in Providence, Rhode Island. Additionally, she has completed continuing education for yoga with a focus on balance, floorwork, and restorative yoga practices. Audrey comes from an intentionally multi-disciplinary background, combining a childhood spent in ballet and modern dance, dual graduate degrees in counseling (M.Ed.) and the fine arts (M.F.A.) with her own distinctive approach to somatic practices. It is her goal to bring an unpretentious lens to yoga that drops the ego and the formalities, creating an environment that is democratic, inclusive, and friendly. When not on the mat, you can find her roller skating or throwing frisbees for her Australian Shepherds.
