Avery's journey with yoga began in at a donation-based studio in Athens, GA though she has always had some form of movement in her life as a dancer and aerial artist.
For Avery yoga is a powerful somatic tool that creates space for new possibilities and mental and emotional growth. She believes that yoga is for every body and is dedicated to making her classes inclusive and adaptable for everyone no matter their experience ability or background. She is a 200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance and completed her training at Asheville Yoga Center in July 2024. She is currently pursuing her 500-hr certification at Asheville Yoga Center.
