Babette has been teaching Ballet, Yoga, Pilates & Movement for Artist's at Talent Unlimited HS for the Performing Arts in NYC for the past 25 years.
She is a licensed Dance Teacher with the NY State Education Department as well as certified in Career & Technical Education for the Arts. She holds an MA from NYU & a BFA from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance. Babette completed her 200hr teacher training from Peaceful Warrior Yoga Center in NY (2014) & her 300hr advanced YTT from Always-At-Aum School (2022) as well as receiving certifications in Hot 26, Ashtanga, Yin/Nidra & Restorative, Reiki, Barre & Dharma Yoga Wheel. Babette has attended various yoga training's at Laughing Lotus in NYC, Free Spirits, Just Breathe & Kripalu Yoga Center in MA. Babette's yoga journey began in the Summer of 2015, starting her own practice: Babette's Aesthetic Body www.babettesyoga.com. BABS Yoga specializes in private & small group instruction in vinyasa, beach yoga, & SUP yoga while overlooking the North Fork shores of the Long Island Sound. Babette's Aesthetic Body offers yoga theme celebrations: Bridal/Groom Yoga, Ladies Night-out, Birthday, Scouts, Pre/Post T-Time yoga,Teen Fusion Yoga, 50+ Serenity Yoga, and Online Zoom classes. Students can also find Babette teaching yoga at various yoga studio locations on Long Island, NY. During Spring, Summer & Fall, Babette offers Namaste Chardonnay a yoga & wine tasting at Borghese Vineyard in the heart of LI wine country in Cutchogue, NY. Babette's Aesthetic Body / BABS Yoga sessions are on location or at various venues.
