My training is in the style of Hatha/Raja yoga.
In addition to being an E-RYT 200, I hold Trauma-Informed and Restorative Yoga & the Subtle Body certifications. I explored with visual art, dance, gymnastics, track and field, eventually finding my way to yoga, where I experienced a focused connection between breath and body. This was the missing piece. Since beginning a regular practice, yoga has been a thread that simultaneously brings me home and opens new avenues for freedom and exploration, growth and perpetual study. I currently teach group and private yoga online and in-studio in west Texas. I have a playful personal practice which includes a mix of yoga styles and movement including Hatha, flow, chair, aerial, deep stretch and Pilates. I teach a blend of styles and modalities dependent on the student’s goals and accessibility. Understanding that every body is uniquely different and finding invitational and organic ways to move and thrive in that body are a driving force for my teaching and personal practice.
