Bambi Kendrick, RN, RYT 500 After many years of working as a registered nurse, I had the opportunity to begin practicing yoga and found the benefits of renewed energy, strength, balance and restorative flexibility in all aspects of my physical and mental being.
Stepping out of full-time nursing practice, afforded me the opportunity to focus on my own wellness, wholeness and spiritual growth. In 2015 I elected to take continuing education courses for my nursing license in sprituality and meditation and the effects on health. Seeing the scientific recognition of their dramatic impact on health and wellness, I was motivated to continue my own yoga practice and I completed Yoga Teacher Training, November 2016, at New Day Yoga in Kennesaw. In 2018, I completed a 300 hour teacher training at a Kripalu school of Yoga to compliment my background and skills. Yoga has freed me from an expectation of inevitable loss of capacities with aging, to one of physical exhilaration and strength; and a mind of peace and grace. I teach, practice and share the benefits of yoga with others to promote personal health and meaningful living in the mountains of North Georgia.
