Barbara Freedman PhD is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher E-RYT with over fifteen years of experience teaching vinyasa flow yoga She trained in the Yoga of Energy Flow with Daniel Orlansky and continues to work with him and with Chip Hartranft Director of the Arlington Center for Yoga  Each of her classes includes centering Qi Gong work; a slow flow yoga sequence linking movement to breath to build strength and endurance; a combination of sustained yin yoga holds and traditional asanas to increase flexibility and balance; and a focus on meditation and pranayama  She specializes in creative vinyasa sequencing; in modifications for seniors; in combining weights with yoga whether through "Iron Yoga" sequences or as a complementary practice; in Strong Bones workouts; and in womens classes  She teaches classes weekly in the Cambridge/Arlington/West Medford/Winchester area in addition to a Strong Women Strong Bones & Yoga class based on Tufts Universitys program of strength training for women to fight osteoporosis  Contact her at bflowyoga@gmailcom for an updated class schedule  Private and on site classes available  See wwwbflowyogaorg.
