About
I took my first yoga class after college in 2005, being an avid runner (that never stretched), a close friend suggested I give yoga a try.
This profound life-changing experience kept me coming back to my mat over and over again. I practice because the discipline of this daily ritual grounds me in truth, opens me to possibility, and challenges me to live more fully. In 2010 I decided to complete my 200hr RYT training at Atlanta Hot Yoga and starting teaching immediately after. Since then I have had the opportunity to take yoga workshops/intensives with leaders; Sean Corn, Kathryn Budig, Jason Crandell, Desiree Rumbaugh, David Swenson, Brock & Krista Cahill, Suzanne Conrad, Baron Baptiste, and Ana Forrest, motivating me to explore my practice and teachings in many different ways. I am currently on the path of becoming a Baptiste Certified Teacher -- completing my Art of Assisting training in February 2014, Level 1 training in August 2014 and working towards my Level 2 Certification in 2015. Through my own personal journey I realized that sharing this practice with the community was my mission. My intention for each class teach is to help create the space for students to become curious about who they are. I love sharing the all the sweat, laughter, and tears in every class; watching each student transform before my eyes. My classes encourage students to go beyond their comfort zone and to develop the tools for physical and spiritual transformation. I am a wife, curious yogi, grateful sister, inspired runner, up for anything crossfitter, once a year triathlete, wannabe hippie, holistic junkie, soy chai addict and a life long student that loves the beach. I am honored to represent lululemon athletica as their ambassador and love spending time with my lemons. Immersing myself within the community keeps me connected to all walks of life. Whether it’s doing a road race, taking a fitness class, helping out with the Atlanta yoga scene or volunteering my time in local events; you can find me out in the community exploring the world, one breath at a time....
