About
Hi, my name is Becky and I appreciate you visiting my page.
I began practicing yoga to add variety to my physical fitness regimen but I quickly realized yoga is so much more than physical postures. Showing up on my mat helped me learn to regulate my emotions, ease my anxiety, quiet my mind, and be more present, on and off my mat. It was then I realized how important it is to develop a self-care practice, not just for physical fitness but also for mental and emotional well being. I started teaching yoga shortly after graduating from my 200 hour teacher training in the spring of 2022. I became a yoga instructor because I’m passionate about helping others develop and/or strengthen their own self-care practice through movement and mindfulness. In addition to my 200 hour training, I’m also certified in Trauma-Informed Yoga, Mindfulness/Mindful Meditation, Yin, Restorative, Vinyasa, and Chair style yoga, Sound Healing/Chakra balancing, Grief Yoga®️, and Energy Medicine Yoga®️. I love learning new modalities to bring to my students. Off the mat I enjoy running, kayaking, cross country skiing, operating my small business, and chilling out with my family. My personal Mission Statement- My mission is to help people be the best version of themselves through the development of sustainable self care practices. My personal Vision Statement-My vision is to help people live a more balanced life.
