Becky started practicing yoga in 1992.
She completed her 200 hour level training in 2002, her 500 hour level training in 2005, and an additional 300 hours of specialized yoga training in 2016. In 2019, Becky completed Marma-Ayurvedic Vital Energy Points training. She has received yoga training at Yoga Connection in Tucson, Arizona, at 7 Centers Yoga Arts in Sedona, Arizona, and at Inner Vision Yoga in Phoenix, Arizona. Becky has also studied in Chennai, India at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram and in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Ayurvedic Institute. Becky teaches classic Hatha yoga with emphasis on the breath and specializes in yoga for beginners, yoga for healthy aging, and correct yoga alignment principles. Becky teaches 3 classes a week online on Zoom. Becky also teaches group, semi-private and private classes, as well as workshops on various topics. Becky also leads local weekend yoga retreats in Arizona and international yoga retreat vacations in Bali, Costa Rica, Peru, Spain and Baja Mexico. Becky also has a YouTube channel: Yoga's Joyful Journey. The beauty of yoga is that it is adaptable, modifiable and individual. Yoga should not be one size fits all. Through Becky's teachings, she will help you listen to your body and breath, which enables you to actually be your own "best" teacher.
