She’s practiced psychotherapy for over a decade and prior was an educator for 15 years. She specializes in somatic psychotherapy for anxiety, trauma and PTSD. In hopes of helping her clients grow holistically, Shauna integrates mindfulness meditation and yoga practices with traditional psychotherapy into her approach using the 5 kosha model. She works with individuals in psychotherapy and private yoga as well as facilitating yoga-based therapy groups and courses. Clients and students come to her wanting to move past old patterns (samskaras) and create new coping strategies using yogic philosophy, intentional meditation and the alchemical effects of cultivating joy.
