About
What first started out as a practice to stay physically active, eventually became a haven to manage the challenges of daily life.
Beth was first introduced to yoga over thirteen years ago when she signed up for a pre-natal class. She attended classes sporadically after her daughter was born to help manage the stress of being a new mother. Over the years, yoga slowly became an integral part of her life. After struggling for years with chronic pain and mysterious health issues, she was diagnosed in 2019 with an autoimmune disease. She had to learn how to listen to her body, put her ego aside, and stop pushing through the pain and fatigue. Her health struggles are what inspired her to pursue her yoga teaching certification. Beth received her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification through Yoga North International SomaYoga Institute. Her program focused on classic asana, traditional therapeutic yoga, and the neuromuscular re-education of somatics. Beth believes that yoga can benefit everyone no matter what kind of physical challenges they face. She hopes to inspire her students to come to their mats more frequently and to help them discover the incredible impact this ancient practice can have on their mind, body, and spirit.
