About
I began my Yoga journey back in 2003 while working as a Clinical Nurse Manager of Adult and Pediatric Hematology and Oncology.
I fell in love with how good it made me feel. I self taught myself for years on the Asanas and philosophy of yoga and in 2013 wanted to share that love with others. This led me to obtain my 200 hour teaching certification with Tammy Zee's Yoga Studio. I obtained a broad based of knowledge that focused on yoga for everyone regardless of injury, age or disability. I have taught Prenatal, Beginners Yoga and Power Vinyasa flow at Tammy's Studio. This past summer I taught Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga and found this to be an inspirational way to connect mind, body and spirit with nature. 9/9/2019 I feel so much joy that I have completed my 300 hour Master's Path Yoga training. It has been 3 years with many obstacles along the way. But I was able to stay focused and complete this journey. I feel empowered to share my knowledge with others now. Life is a beautiful journey! 1/6/2023 I am so happy to be back in the Midwest living in Wisconsin on the Red Cedar River. I have been fortunate to find an awesome yoga studio with a great community, Happy Apple Yoga. I am currently a Substitute instructor and am enjoying this new community. The studio is changing hands and will now be Rising Sun Yoga. Looking forward to a new chapter and energy Chi with the changing of hands and teaching what I love. 11/18/2024 I feel so blessed to be able to bring the spirit of Yoga to the community I live in. I am surrounded by great teachers and students of a all ages. I am sharing all that I gained in my 500 hr training and offering yoga both on and off the mat. Om Shanti
