Beverly Price is an experienced 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training.
She is also a C-IAYT. Beverly is also a registered dietitian (RD) and certified eating disorder specialist (CEDRD-S) recognized for her mindfulness yoga-based Eating Disorder recovery programs, along with yoga training programs in Eating Disorders for professionals. Beverly had created, cultivated and sold various healthcare businesses, while consulting with healthcare entities who wish to maximize their bottom line. Beverly has practiced for over 30 years. She has been published and has presented clinical and business topics in numerous peer reviewed journals and at professional conferences regarding yoga and eating disorders. She is the author of Reconnect with Food...Unplugged! DVD and contributor to Fostering Creativity in Rehabilitation by Matthew J. Taylor, PhD, where she describes how Yoga works in Eating Disorder Recovery through the programs she has created.
