Bianca Sapetto yogi teacher choreographer director aerialist and dancer began her embodiment career as a rhythmic gymnast claiming five US National Championships titles and an alternate position on the US Olympic Team Bianca studied comparative religion at Amherst College before “running away” to join the circus with Cirque du Soleil She has performed choreographed and directed for Disney Cirque du Soleil Warner Brothers Paramount films the Grammy Awards the Tonight Show Good Morning America American Music Awards Jackie Chans Stunt Team Michigan Opera Teatro Zinzanni Astor Piazzola Tango Foundation the Olympic Gymnastics Tours Burning Man and at the Summit of the Americas for all the North and South American presidents and prime ministers She began teaching aerial acrobatics and dance in In she earned her yoga teachers training certificate from Yogaworks led by her mentor Annie Carpenter with Kia Miller Joan Hyman and Bahni Turpin In she received her Anusara prenatal Training with Sue Elkind and Anna Verwaal She has continued her yoga studies through extension courses including Loyola Marymount University with classes led by Srivatsa Ramaswami and the study of the Upanishades In she began her “Lunar Yoga” class series which ties together the moon cycles mythology astrology archetype art and magical traditions with yoga philosophy asana pranayama and meditation practices Bianca plays the harmonium and loves to lead Kirtan as an addition to her classes For more than a decade she has taught her original classes “The Physical Creative” which examine how the physical body and personal stories inspire creativity in art the workplace and everyday life She has lead classes and workshops at Esalen Institute Rock n Roll Hall of Fame USC UCLA National Young Arts Foundation Joffrey Ballet PEN USA Henkel Corporation and yoga acting dance and circus schools across the country Bianca lives in Los Angeles You can find her currently teaching at Center for Yoga LA Lunar yoga online as well as a private studio in Woodland Hills where she teaches yoga aerial arts dance and acrobatics classes workshops and trainings.
