I completed my RYT training at Mindful Motion in Jacksonville Florida in I come to yoga from a rather unique background Although Ive always been active I never practiced yoga until I was in my s I had worked for over years taking care of children with respiratory problems When I began my personal yoga practice I was immediately engaged by the emphasis on breath I want to help students connect breath to movement and learn to use the breath to their benefit on and off the mat I also want to make yoga more accessible to students who are older have limitations or are uncertain about starting a yoga practice To this end I am certified in Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga I have also completed my hour teacher training I currently teach gentle and chair yoga.
