Im Brandi Hearn a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance I currently hold two -hour Yoga Teacher Trainings one general training and one Trauma Informed Training I approach yoga from the total perspective and the Mind/Body connection Listening to your body and tuning in to the messages it is sending is crucial to your practice Up until a year ago I considered myself able bodied Last year I was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder PTSD anxiety and non-epileptic seizures I say this not for sympathy but to say that I understand the struggle That our body may not be showing up for us today how it did yesterday or a week ago or a year ago Our practice is about meeting our body right where we are now Accepting and allowing Nourishing and with empathy trying to gain deeper insight into ourselves Coming home to our bodies finding and showing love for our bodies and radiating that love out to others from our heart center.
