Hi Im Bridget Yoga first interested me for its physical postures but I have stayed with the practice because of its effects on my mind relationships and perspective as well as its intersections with social justice and nature My intention for teaching is to create a space for others to find something meaningful for themselves in the practice I completed RYT* hr training in Costa Rica in a Functional Anatomy Informed Vinyasa style called Karuṇā Flow Functional Anatomy is more concerned with how poses feel in different bodies than their aesthetic Vinyasa flow links breath to movement and poses to one another Karuṇā Sanskrit is often translated to "compassion" I love learning about yogic traditions and philosophies and hope to continue this study throughout my life My work also allows me to promote organic agriculture systems and I enjoy traveling climbing live music skiing Philadelphia sports teams backpacking and practicing Spanish I live in Boulder Colorado *Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance acknowledges the completion of a teacher training with a Registered Yoga School RYS.
