Candace Merkel is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School RYS In I completed my RYT with Ruth Fisk at the Khagaya School Of YogaRYS and in my RYT with Ruth Fisk at Anandalay for Yoga Study RYS at the Center for Yoga in East LansingMI I assisted Kathy Stover in her Ageless Yoga classes for years I enjoy teaching Introductory Beginning and Level Hatha Yoga based on the solid foundation of the Iyengar tradition as well as Early Morning Yoga I have been a student in the Iyengar tradition since and continue to study with Ruth Fisk CIYT and attend annual workshop intensives with Jehangir Palkhivala in Michigan Yoga has been a big part of my life and I enjoy teaching a safe alignment-based yoga to new students of all ages helping them discover the many benefits Yoga can offer.
